(Heer Schützenschnur). A first pattern Heer Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade One, featuring an aluminum insignia, consisting of a pebbled shield bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, affixed with three reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, with each end completing in a loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the insignia measuring 30 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 475 mm in length, with minor material fatigue evident to the silver aluminum wire, in overall near extremely fine condition.
