Germany, Heer. A Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade I
(Heer Schützenschnur). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central pebbled shield bearing crossed swords, unmarked, measuring 39.32 mm (w) x 55.27 mm (h), affixed with four reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire, completing in a loop at each end, measuring 420 mm in length, minor material fatigue evident to the lanyard, in overall near extremely fine condition.
