(Heer Schützenschnur). A second pattern Heer Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade One, featuring an aluminum insignia, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a pebbled shield overlaid by crossed swords, affixed with four reverse attachment prongs to a lanyard constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire piping, with each end completing in loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the insignia measuring 39 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 450 mm in length, moderate material fatigue is evident to the silver aluminum wire, in overall better than very fine condition.
