Klasse mit Schwerter in its original case of issue; in silvered tombac; vertical tapered pin marked 84, with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 48.53 mm x 47.77 mm; weighing 22.2 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper and a lightly textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; a War Merit Cross with Swords embossed in silver on the outside lid; the lid lined with off-white satin, and with a recessed medal bed; intact interior fabric hinge cover with the exterior paper hinge also intact; measuring 68 mm x 68 mm; near extremely fine condition.
