Constructed of silvered feinzink, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with a central wreathed mobile swastika, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “3” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 47.95 mm (w) x 47.68 mm (h), weighing 18.7 grams, loss of silver finish evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
