(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of three badges, including a War Merit Cross I Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, consisting of a Maltese Cross with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms and with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 48.29 mm (w) x 48.28 mm (h), weighing 19.3 grams, with some loss of finish evident, in better than very fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.83 mm (w) x 44.07 mm (h), weighing 12.0 grams, with some oxidation evident, in very fine condition, and; a Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crosses swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integrated catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “65” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 36.68 mm (w) x 44.06 mm (h), weighing 21.4 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
