A completely mint and unissued example of a Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter; maltese cross in bronzed tombak; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with a completely unused period original ribbon; the obverse pebbled, with a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 48.24 mm x 48.62 mm; weighing 19.3 grams. Accompnied by its original paper wrappers and its original paper packet of issue, with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter” embossed in black gothic lettering on the obverse, and “Deschler & Sohn, München 9” printed in the same style on the reverse; measuring 106 mm x 58 mm; in top condition.
