Klasse mit Schwertern; maltese cross in bronze-finished metal alloy; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with a mint and unused period original ribbon; the obverse with crossed swords between the arms of the cross and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 48.17 mm x 47.52 mm; weighing 21.6 grams; with its paper packet of issue, with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern” printed on the obverse in black gothic lettering, and “Ph. Türk’s Witwe, Wien 107” on the reverse in the same style; measuring 58 mm x 106 mm; mint and unissued condition.
