Klasse ohne Schwerter; maltese cross in bronzed tombak; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with a mint and unissued full-length period original ribbon; the obverse pebbled, with a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 48.95 mm x 49.26 mm; weighing 18.5 grams. Accompanied by its paper packet of issue; with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter” printed in black gothic lettering on the obverse and “Werner Redo, Saarlautern” printed in the same style on the reverse; measuring 128 mm x 104 mm; mint and unissued condition.
