What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A War Merit Cross Second Class with Original Packet of Issue

A Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter; crafted in bronze; with original unworn ribbon and packet of issue, as well as paper wrappings; ribbon is vertically striped in red-white-black-white-red; measurements: ribbon - 24 cm x 3 cm, cross: 49 mm x 49 mm. Ribbon is in near mint condition; cross is in fair condition due to heavy corrosion. Footnote: Makers label has been purposefully removed/cut from packet. This was done by factory workers who would sell awards to American GI's post war who wanted to keep the awards origin hidden.
