What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

War Merit Cross Second Class (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter); in bronze; with original unworn ribbon and packet of issue and paper wrappings; ribbon is vertically striped in red-white-black-white-red; measuring 49 mm x 49 mm; ribbon in mint condition; cross in fair condition due to heavy corrosion.

Footnote: Maker’s label on rear of packet has been purposefully removed/cut from packet. This was done by factory workers who sold awards to American GI's post war who wanted to keep origins of the award hidden.
