Klasse mit Schwertern; maltese cross in bronzed zink; on loop for suspension (unmarked); with its period original ribbon; the obverse with crossed swords between the arms of the cross and a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 49.63 mm x 49.80 mm; weighing 24.0 grams. Accompanied by its packet of issue, with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern” printed in black gothic lettering on the obverse, and “Türk’s Witwe, Wien 107” in the same style on the reverse; measuring 106 mm x 58 mm; better than very fine condition.
