Klasse ohne Schwerter”, Maltese cross in bronzed alloy; on loop for suspension - marked “1” for “Deschler & Sohn, München 9”; with a mint and unissued period original ribbon; the obverse pebbled, with a circular raised border of oak leaves on the obverse with a raised mobile swastika in the center; the reverse with a circular raised border of oak leaves bearing the institution date “1939” in raised numbering; measuring 48.87 mm (w) x 48.39 mm (h); weighing 19.1 grams. With its original wrapping paper and packet of issue; a paper packet with “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter” printed on the obverse in black gothic lettering, with “Deschler & Sohn, München 9” stamped on the reverse in the same style; measuring 58 mm x 105 mm; in absolutely top condition.
