A group of three War Merit decorations, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a depiction of the War Merit Cross, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.16 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 46.71 mm (w) x 47.25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, with crossed swords piercing the centre, unmarked, measuring 47.24 mm (w) x 48.25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
