Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.36 mm (w) x 48.68 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the obverse exterior with an inscription of “KRIEGSVERDIENSTKREUZ 2. KLASSE OHNE SCHWERTER” (“WAR MERIT CROSS II CLASS WITHOUT SWORDS”), the reverse exterior with a maker’s mark of “JAKOB BENGEL, OBERSTEIN”, measuring 105 mm (w) x 130 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition. (Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern). Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “110” for Otto Zappe, Gablonz, measuring 47.87 mm (w) x 49.65 mm (h), measuring 19.2 grams, accompanied by its period original package of issue, constructed of light brown paper stock, the obverse exterior with an inscription of “KRIEGSVERDIENSTKREUZ 2. KLASSE MIT SCHWERTERN” (“WAR MERIT CROSS II CLASS WITH SWORDS”), the reverse exterior with a maker’s mark of “OTTO ZAPPE, GABLONZ-NEIßE”, measuring 58 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
