A second war German gold grade wound badge by a popular maker; in gilded feinzink; vertical needle pin with an integral hinge and an integral catch; maker marked “107” (Carl Wild, Hamburg” on the reverse; measuring 44 mm x 36 mm; weighing 26.0 grams; wear to the gilding on the swastika (Hakenkreuz), but otherwise better than very fine condition with nearly all of the original gilding remaining. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper and a textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; intact interior fabric hinge cover; with the external paper hinge completely severed; measuring 68 mm x 68 mm; overall very fine condition.
