This is an extremely well preserved unissued Wehrmacht issue Panzer Krim Shield; constructed of bronzed steel (magnetic); on black (Panzer) backer; four prongs and paper backer fully intact; measuring 60 mm x 51 mm; mint unissued condition.

Footnote: The Crimea Shield was awarded to all members of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe who were active in the Crimea campaign between 21 September 1941 and 4 July 1942, under the following conditions 1) must have served in the area for at least 90 days 2) must have been wounded while serving in the area 3) must have been engaged in a single major engagement.
