Germany, Heer. An Army-Issued Krim Shield
(Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse with a raised map of Crimea, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates “1941-1942”, with three of four reverse attachment prongs intact, affixed to a field-grey wool backer with a paper stock liner, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
