(Narvik Schild). A Narvik Campaign Shield constructed of cupal, featuring a national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika, inscribed NARVIK in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse, attached to a field-grey wool backing, measuring 54 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), and in overall extremely fine condition.
