A fine example of a worn but well preserved Heeresbergführer Abzeichen; in gilt tombac with white and green enamels; the obverse with an Edelweiß flower - riveted to the reverse, but slightly loose; vertical pinback; maker marked “Deschler & Sohn, München 9” on the reverse; measuring 42.81 mm (w) x 42.78 mm (h); weighing 32.2 grams; a lightly worn example, with light contact marks on the badge; in overall extremely fine condition.
