(Verwundetenabzeichen). Constructed of oval shaped silvered tombac; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, and a functional hinge/catch assembly; the reverse etched with “13a JR Aubstadt Königshofen/Grbt”; measuring 36.28 mm (w) x 43.76 mm (h); weighing 34.7 grams. Accompanied by its presentation case; constructed of heavy pressed paper, with a lightly textured faux leather (leatherette) exterior; with a lined interior lid, slotted medal bed, intact interior fabric hinge cover, functional spring catch and stud release, and functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 68 mm (w) x 68 mm (h); in overall better than very fine condition.
