What's a max bid?

Germany, Heer. A Bronze Grade Infantry Assault Badge by Josef Feiz und Söhne

(Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, in Bronze). Instituted 2012 December 1939 by Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Brauchitsch. (Issued 1939-1945). Constructed in bronzed zink, the Infantry Assault Badge comprises of an oval shaped oak leaf wreath, both sides consisting of four upwards-pointing leaves, the bottom of the badge has a stylized bow holding the wreath together, the wreath itself is crossed by the rifle with its bayonet pointing upwards from lower right to the upper left, the top of the wreath is decorated by an army eagle looking to the right, in its claws it holds the upper arm of the mobile swastika, the reverse holds the vertical needle arrangement consisting of non-magnetic, crimped metal ball hinge and crimped steel catch, maker mark “JSF” in raised letters in a box under the hinge, measuring 48.54 mm (w) x 61.68 mm (h), weighing 27.7 g, accompanied by its red-brown bag inscribed in Gothic print and a manufacturer name and address on reverse, and in near mint condition.
