(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain, with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with the physical characteristics of manufacture by an unknown maker utilizing distributer mark “G”, measuring 42.18 mm (w) x 60.32 mm (h), weighing 35.9 grams, most of the finish has been lost, in overall better than very fine condition.
