What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Germany, Wehrmacht. A Panzer Assault Badge, Special Grade 25 in Silver, by Josef Feix & Söhne

(Panzerkampfabzeichen Silber mit Einsatzzahl 25). Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number “25”, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central Panzer IV rolling over logs, with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse Panzer in place, with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the physical characteristics of manufacture by Josef Feix & Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 47.75 mm (w) x 61.87 mm (h), weighing 32.1 grams, the catch has been crudely replaced and the pinback shows evidence of refurbishment, remains in fine condition.
