A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; oval shaped blackened metal; he obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; maker marked “65” for “Klein & Quenzer of Idar-Oberstein” on the reverse; measuring 44.40 mm x 37.47 mm; weighing 13.0 grams; in mint condition.
