(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of blackened tombak, vertical pinback, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, marked on the reverse with “107” for maker Carl Wild, Hamburg, measuring 36.70 (w) x 44.03 (h), accompanied by its period original case, composed of two pieces constructed of card stock with a dark blue faux leather exterior, interior lid stamped with “LDO” for Leistungsgemeinschaft Deutscher Ordenhersteller (Guild of German Awards Manufacturers), with a golden-yellow felt medal bed, measuring 40 mm (w) x 60 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.
