Germany, Wehrmacht. A Blade Grade Wound Badge, with Case and Pendant Miniature

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz mit Etui und Miniatur). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.70 mm (w) x 44.23 mm (h), weighing 8.2 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of two pieces of blue-lined card stock, the interior of the lid bearing a stamped LDO logo, measuring 42 mm (w) x 60 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), demonstrating possible repairs to the hinge and catch, in near extremely fine condition, also accompanied by a pendant miniature, constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 13.55 mm (w) x 19.45 mm (h), weighing 2.0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
