(Verwundetenabzeichen). A lot of four Wound Badges, including a Black Grade badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.98 mm (w) x 45.00 mm (h), weighing 15.0 grams, in extremely fine condition; a second Black Grade badge, of identical construction and composition, unmarked, measuring 37.97 mm (w) x 45.66 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, with oxidation evident throughout, in poor condition; a third Black Grade badge, constructed of blackened bronze, of identical composition, the reverse maker marked “E.S.P.” for Eugen Schmidthäussler, Pforzheim, measuring 36.95 mm (w) x 44.04 mm (h), weighing 20.1 grams, in very fine condition, and; a Silver Grade badge, constructed of silvered zink, of identical composition, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.18 mm (w) x 43.73 mm (h), weighing 25.1 grams, with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
