A pair of Wound Badges, including a Black Grade award, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central Stahlhelm bearing a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36.85 mm (w) x 44.22 mm (h), weighing 12.6 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central Stahlhelm bearing a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “30” for the Vienna Mint, measuring 36.26 mm (w) x 43.77 mm (h), weighing 26.3 grams, with total loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
