A Second War German silver grade wound badge (Verwundetenabzeichen) miniature stick pin; in stamped (hollow) silvered tombac; 46 mm long knurled pin; unmarked; measuring 20 mm x 17 mm. Accompanied by its original LDO (Leistungsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Ordenshersteller/Administration of German Order Manufacturers) salesman’s board; the reverse embossed with the traditional LDO quality assurance statement reading “The production of orders and medals is subject to the control of the presidential chancery. The manufacturer is obliged to exchange defective parts for faultless replacement” on the reverse; measuring 105 mm x 35 mm; overall extremely fine condition.
