A second war German “Verwundetenabzeichen”; solid oval shaped silvered tombac; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, sheet metal hinge, and a integral catch; maker marked “30” for “Hauptmünzamt Wien” on the reverse; measuring 43.80 mm x 36.36 mm; weighing 33.6 grams; in near extremely fine condition with nearly all of its original silvering remaining.
