A 1933 Schicksalswende (twist of fate) medal; in bronze; the obverse with an eagle breaking the chains around its legs, with a sunwheel swastika on its chest, circumscribed with “Im Jahre Deutscher Schicksalswende 1933” (In the year of the twist of fate 1933); the reverse with a leftward facing bust of A.H. circumscribed “Unser die Zukunft” (Ours the future); inscribed “Bayer. Hauptmünzamt” on the edge of the medal; measuring 36.30 mm; weighing 21.4 grams; better than very fine condition.
