A 1933 Adolf Hitler “Turning Point” medal; in silver; maker marked “Preuss. Staatsmünze, Silber 900 Fein” on side; measuring 36 mm in diameter; brown cardstock box; embossed with swastika on lid; “Silber” black stamp on bottom; overall near extremely fine condition Footnote: This is a commemorative medal for the election of Hitler as the Reichs Chancellor of Germany. The obverse has a bust of Hitler facing left surrounded by the inscription, “Unsere die Zukunft - Adolf Hitler” (Ours is the Future - Adolf Hitler). The reverse features an eagle with broken shackles and a shield displaying a rounded swastika. The inscirption reads “Im Jahre deutscher Schicksalwende - 1933” (In the year of the turning point of German Destiny - 1933)
