Zinc with a copper-coloured gilt, obverse illustrating the Roter Sand lighthouse, located thirty miles off the coast of Bremerhaven, the lighthouse with the waves of the sea lapping against its foundations, puffy clouds in the background, inscribed in Gothic script "Deutscher Schützenverband" above and "Gau Nordsee" below, the two lines of type separated by swastikas on either side, reverse inscribed in Gothic script "Meisterschaften des Deutschen Schützenverbandes" and engraved "Unterkreis-Jung-Meistermannschaft 1937 Luftbüchse (Kugel) Ukrs. Wesermarsch" below, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of oak leaves, the ends of the branches tied together at the bottom of the wreath by a bow-tied ribbon, 99.7 mm, mint.
