Bronze gilt on zinc, obverse illustrating a stylized right-facing eagle, its talons grasping a swastika below, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of laurel leaves and inscribed "1940" above, reverse inscribed "KRIEGSPORTFEST DES INF. RGT. "LIST" 1 SIEGER", the "1" impressed and the remainder of the characters in raised type, the bar below un-named, 70 mm, extremely fine condition. In its hardshelled case of issue, recessed medal bed, case also extremely fine.
