Germany, Third Reich. A 1939 Nuremberg Rally Combat Games II Place Victor’s Table Medal
(Reichsparteitag Kampfspiele Siegermedaille). Constructed of zink, the obverse bearing a raised female figure and child, flanked by a grapevine, topped by a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “REICHSPARTEITAG 1939”, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “N.S. KAMPFSPIELE 1939 ZWEITER PLATZ” (“N.S. COMBAT GAMES 1939 SECOND PLACE”), unmarked, measuring 95 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
