Constructed of gilt bronze with blue enamels, presenting as central mobile swastika with richly-detailed blue enameled wings, horizontal pinback with functional barrel hinge and round wire catch, maker marked “C.E. Juncker, Berlin SW” on reverse, measuring 80 mm (w) x 21 mm (h), period enamel repair evident on inner wings, accompanied by its period original case, constructed of heavy cardstock with dark blue faux leather exterior, lid embossed with inscription “Civil-Flugzeugführer” (“Civil Pilot”), interior dark blue padded satin-type lid liner with intact hing cover, slotted blue felt medal bed, functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release, functional magnetic hinge, measuring 113 mm (w) x 51 mm (l) x 27 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
