(Dienstauszeichnung der Polizei, I. Klasse für 25 Jahre mit Etui). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1945 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised Ordnungspolizei insignia, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”), unmarked, measuring 43.20 mm (w) x 47.91 mm (h), weighing 21.7 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux green leather exterior, the lid bearing a gilded wreathed number “25”, the interior with a white satin-type lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed grey felt medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 105 mm (l) x 20 m (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
