(Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1943 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a central mobile swastika inside of wheat stalks, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 32.58 mm (w) x 44.92 mm (h), measuring 11.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux beige leather exterior, the exterior lid with a silvered number “4” within a cogwheel, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 88 mm (l) x 18 mm (h), some loss of finish evident to the medal, in overall near extremely fine condition.
