Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, with an oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, the obverse with a central black swastika, the reverse with a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.08 mm (w) x 45.46 mm (h), weighing 21.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux red leather exterior, the exterior lid with a silvered number “25” within a cogwheel, the interior with a red felt medal bed and lid liner, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
