(Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen, I. Klasse für 40 Jahre). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms and an oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.39 mm (w) x 46.28 mm (h), weighing 22.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
