An oval silver badge, the obverse presenting a firefighter with helmet blowing a fire horn he holds in his right hand while holding a hose in his left, below is a burning house, with smoke and flames coming through the roof, circumscribed by the inscription FÜR VERDIENSTE UM DAS FEUERLÖSCHWESEN (FOR MERIT TO THE FIRE FIGHTING), the reverse presents a vertical pinback, maker marked PREUSS. STAATSMÜNZE, SILBER 900 FEIN, measuring 29.18 mm (w) x 41.86 mm (h), and in near extremely fine condition.
