Germany, Third Reich. A Group of German Day Badges and Tinnies
(Abzeichen). A group of ten German tinnies, including a wooden badge commemorating the Flag Presentation to the Warriors of Henndorf in 1939, attached to a ribbon and horizontal pin, measures 26 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, a 1934 NS-Hago 2nd Labour-Battle “The German Only Shops at German Stores” badge, on vertical needle pin, measures 30 mm (w) x 29 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, a 1937 Düsseldorf Reich’s Exhibition of a Productive People badge, on a horizontal pinback, measures 30 mm in diameter, and in extremely fine condition, a 1937 12th German Singer’s Festival badge, on a vertical pin, measures 36 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition, a 1924 Linz badge, on a horizontal pin, measures 26 mm (w) x 33 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, a 1932 War Memorial Consecration badge, on a vertical pinback, measures 23 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), and in very fine condition, a St. Anton tinnie, on a vertical needle pin, measures 26 mm (w) x 39 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, a stickpin commemorating the shoe supply to the poor of Vienna, constructed of stamped metal in a silver finish, it consists of an oval border bearing the inscription “HILFSAKTION DER SCHUHVERSORGUNG FÜR DIE ARMEN WIENS” with the design of the sole of a show spanning the centre, on a vertical pin measuring 30 mm long, and in very fine condition, a Rieder Festival badge by B. H. Mayer, the reverse presents a horizontal pinback and maker mark, measures 39 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), and in very fine condition, and a Glasenbach Kameradschaft badge, on a horizontal pin, measures 38 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
