What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A lot of six commemorative badges, including a 1934 Saar reunification propaganda badge, constructed of magnetic metal, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in poor condition; a 1935 German Seafaring Day badge, constructed of aluminum, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “PRAGEANSTALT HÄHL, PFORZHEIM”, measuring 42 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a 1935 Schönau im Schwarzwald Schlageter Day badge, constructed of magnetic metal, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 25 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a 1937 Stuttgart Gautag badge, constructed of aluminum, vertical pinback, the reverse maker marked “FR. ZIMMERMANN, STUTTGART”, measuring 28 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a 1938 SA Group Südwest Karlsruhe Sports Competition badge, constructed of silvered zink, vertical pinback, the reverse maker marked “FOERSTER & BARTH, PFORZHEIM”, measuring 36 mm in diameter, with oxidation and loss of finish evident, in poor condition, and; a 1942 Ordnungspolizei badge, constructed of silvered zink, horizontal pinback, the reverse marked “P2”, measuring 30 mm (w) x 26 mm (h), with loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
