Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Membership Badges
(Mitgliedsabzeichen). A mixed lot of five membership badges, including two National Socialist Women’s League staff badges, each constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and with vertical pinbacks, one badge maker marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “M1/172” for Walter & Henlein, Gablonz, the other marked with a code of “M1/34” for Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, both measuring 30 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), with some chipping of enamels evident, in overall better than very fine condition; a Deutsches Jungvolk badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, maker marked “P. MEYBAUER, BERLIN”, measuring 22 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a National Socialist People’s Welfare stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse maker marked with a RZM logo and code “35” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 18 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a German Children’s League badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, maker marked with a RZM logo and code “63” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 18 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
