A pair of Civil Service Long Service Decorations, including a II Class Decoration for 25 Years, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.34 mm (w) x 46.11 mm (h), 23.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silver number “25” within a cogwheel, the interior with a maroon felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l), with minor loss of finish and material fatigue evident to the cross and case, respectively, in overall very fine condition, and; a I Class Decoration for 40 Years, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.35 mm (w) x 46.15 mm (h), 23.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt number “40” within an oak leaf wreath, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted maroon felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, the lid liner marked marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN’, measuring 48 mm (w) x 102 mm (l) x 18 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident to the case, in overall extremely fine condition.
