An oval badge constructed of bronze, the obverse depicts a man driving a chariot pulled by two horses, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath with a Roman letter R in a circle at the base, the reverse presents a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch, maker marked L CHR. LAUER NÜRNBERG BERLIN, marked GESETZLICH GESCHÜTZT, measuring 40.00 mm (w) x 50.91 mm (h), weighing 17.3 grams, and in extremely fine condition.
