(Deutsches Reiterabzeichen in Bronze, III. Klasse). Instituted 9 April 1930. (1930-1945). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a stylized belt around a letter “R”, with a central depiction of a mounted horse, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, unmarked, measuring 42.90 mm (w) x 52.70 mm (h), weighing 17.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
