An Austrian FAD (Volunteer Labour Service) membership badge, a circular badge constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bears a black enamel shovel with two grains to either side on a white enamel background, encompassed by a red enamel border with the inscription “FREIWILLIGER ARBEITSDIENST”, the reverse bears a horizontal soldered pinback with the mark “GES GESCH” twice, measuring 22.25 mm, very fine; An Austrian Honourary Member Miniature Award Stick Pin, constructed of silvered non-magnetic metal, in the shape of a shield, wreath border on two sides, the obverse centre bears a shovel on a black enamel background, the reverse bears a soldered, knurled, vertical pin and the mark “HORSTATTER BONN”, measuring 9.20 mm (w) x 49.53 mm (h), very fine.; A RAD Winterhilfswerk Badge, c. 1938, a grey shovel constructed of plastic, the square blade is inscribed with “WHW. 1937-38 R.A.D. GRUPPE 210” (Winterhilfswerk 1937-38 RAD GROUP 210), the reverse bears a vertical pinback, measuring 11.35 mm (w) x 34.60 mm (h), very fine.
