(Dienstauszeichnung Reichsarbeitsdienst II. Stufe Frauen). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1943 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze alloy, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central raised RAD insignia in the form of mobile swastika between wheat stalks, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked measuring 32.62 mm (w) x 44.50 mm (h), weighing 10.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
